TA DAAAAH!

It's a whole new chapter for us. And it started with a bang well sort of... move went smoothly, only 2 broken glasses ( they were mismatched anyway), had to do another big load to good will and we've now started a rummage sale box for Sierra's school. Needless to say we still have too much STUFF! Hopefully we can cull it down to a manageable level. but for now everything has a home even if it's under a bed!
Our second week here Gramma and Boo boo came to visit - so of course we had a lot of sight seeing, eating, hiking, talking etc THEN I got a stomach bug and 8 hours later so did G. NOT FUN! Thankfully Bunny was well taken care of by the family. We still managed to have a great time and can't wait for them to come back soon.
I also started my new job and so far so good. It's a small company and everyone contributes - I like the energy here and it's still a laid back environment. I'll try to keep this updated.....but don't hold your breath!

Ready or not it's 2009

It's the New Year, new homes, new places, new adventures....in just a few months we will all be living in Santa Fe NM! It's been a dream for a long time and now it's finally happening. It's exciting and scary and fun and crazy all at once. Leaving here is going to be tough - our friends are such a strong part of our lives and we cherish them so much. Making new friends will be interesting - trying to imagine meeting people that are as sweet and kind and giving as our friends - knowing it will be nothing like it is now but hopefully we can expand our circle and find some interesting people to spend time with there.
Starting to worry about finding the right place for Bunny. She is so comfortable at her school and she is so happy to go there everyday- can't imagine how hard her first few days/weeks will be at a new school. makes me sad. I know it will be good for her and I hope we can find one that is a good fit right away.
My next challenge is finding a new place of employment. Not sure how I feel about it but it must be done and I hope to find something that is more fulfilling and meaningful to me.
I will miss being at FT but it's a good time for all new things.
